• Featured Groups -- Deserving of special attention for a time.
• My Groups -- Groups you have created or joined. Useful for managing your commitments.
• Communities -- GroupType = "Community" -- Localities, neighborhoods, geographical.
• Organizations -- GroupType = Organizations -- Non profits, schools, universities.
• Businesses -- GroupType = Companies -- Companies, commercial estblishments striving to be green.
• Study Groups -- GroupType = Studygroups -- 12 Steps, books, skills.
• Local Trading Groups -- GroupType = Trading -- Localities practicing local trading, alternative currencies.
• Email Lists -- GroupType = Email -- Signup for specialty Mailing Lists

Tips on Using Groups

• Joining groups is a separate step from joining this site.
• Pick the Group you want to join. Enter it by clicking on it. See a list of who else is in the Group. Join it. Unjoin at any time.
• Repeat these steps for each Group you wish to join.
• Your Groups will then appear on your profile -- "My Page".
• Other people will also be able to see the Groups you belong to when they view your profile.
