TRANSITION U.S. SOCIAL NETWORK

Tips for Getting Started

  • Who We Are -- Relationship to Transition Towns UK, beliefs, passions.
  • Getting Started -- Newcomers to sites like this frequently wonder what they should do first. Here is a list of things you can do. Pick a few and use them to familiarize yourself with the way this community operates.
  • Home/Site Menu -- The Site Menu presents activities in Transition U.S. as a "flat" table of contents, with annotations to assist members to quickly see the big picture. Members are invited to help perfect this overview.
  • World Menu -- What are the noteworthy activities world-wide? What resources should be offered one-time for all associated sites? How can a particular locality "sponsor" an activity, making it available to all Transition sites, without having to visit and update every site? This page attempts to answer these questions, serving as a central meeting room. Members are invited to help polish it. Note. This page was formerly named "TN Resources" -- Transition Network Resources.
  • Ask Les -- if you have additional questions about any of these menus.

Tip. Use the pulldown tabs to go directly to your choices, bypassing this page when you are familiar with the purpose of each choice. When introducing newcomers to the way this site works, be sure to start with these explanations.
