TRANSITION U.S. SOCIAL NETWORK

My name is Forrest Craver, I have been involved in various transition communities since September 20008. I find that this site and other ning sites are powerful tools to meet and connect with people who share my passion for social justice. Two examples to ground what I am saying. I moved to Arvada from Denver two months ago. I posted several blogs and was contacted by a leader of the Arvarda/Longmont community to attend an upcoming event in Nov and speak briefly about the process of building the movement and my experience. This integrates me into a new transition community after a very recent move.

Second, I was looking at "All Blog Posts and found a blog from a Pa. man who is suggesting reading The Starfish and the Spider. I went and got the book and sent the link to several friends who are org dev folks. They were thrilled to learn of this book and apply its insights to their local transition community building.

As a monthly columnist for www.men's stuff.org I am able to bring transition introduction to men all over the world as I am a monthly columnist for menstuff and the founder/owner of menstuff is dark green himself. This has large implications for scattering new seeds for transition movement aes menstuff is largest men's website in the world. Hooray for Les Squires and this great ning tool. I feel the movement ramping up and I am very excited. I have 14 blog posts on transitioncolorado.ning which offer deep context and practical steps for all of us moving forward, blessings, forrest craver
