Rabbits and Chickens... have had Nubian milk goats as well.

"I bought a circular saw to make it," she said. The coop is lined with newspapers (try doing that with a laptop), and the base slides out for cleaning...

I just got 6 chicks to add to my suburban homestead. 1 is a white sultan, and the other 5 are a yet-to-be-determined breed. My kids were elated to get them, my wife is...uhh... still warming up to the idea. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing with everybody here.

This forum is an excellent idea, and your little Rhodie (looks like) makes a beautiful mascot. I love my backyard chickens and have just added ducks. I look forward to discussions with other poultry lovers.

Backyard livestock is coming into a rennaisance and many folks are starting to keep a small coop opf chickens, rabbits or goats to supplement their grocery store purchase...

This group is a place to ask questions and discuss issues related to backyard or urban animal husbandry.
