Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I am currently not involved, other than trying to eat more locally and depend less on fossil fuels.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I think that it is important that we begin now to transition to a lower energy lifestyle now before we are forced to due to fossil fuel depletion.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
What can I teach? Well, I grew up in a more rural area, so I have had livestock type animals of all sorts and I am a decent gardener. I know quite a bit about wild plants/ herbs.

Welcome Bertie! Great to see you here on the social networks for Transition U.S. and Transition Ohio. You highlighted in your profile "... What can I teach? Well, I grew up in a more rural area, so I have had livestock type animals of all sorts and I am a decent gardener. I know quite a bit about wild plants/ herbs...." -- Super! I'd suggest you start a Discussion here on this site and invite others to discuss some of your favorite topics. You might even want to start a Group dedicated to wild plants and herbs....
