Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
For many years, through my education in environmental design and ecological systems, as a land use planner developing sustainable policies for rural and urban environments, as a practicing architectural designer, as a Passive House Consultant-in-Training, and as a researcher into methods of self-organizing bio-regional change to sustainable lifestyles. I have only now formally become involved in the "Transition Movement" in Vermont.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
see above
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
As a planner and design professional, I have been looking into the relationship between human settlement and natural systems for over 30 years. Sustainability and ecological design were practicing concepts long before a Transition movement. Perhaps I can share some of my experience.
