Okay Duane, I see right where you're coming from now. What we need then are people who are able to find ways to get in touch with local stations and influence them in this way. I personally don't have time to devote to that unfortunately, so we need…

Duane, I wholeheartedly agree with you on this issue of the use of public airwaves.
Another term for this is Public Access Television, and now I've seen it billed as Local & Govt Access. I've had some experience with public access tv and know that…
The airwaves legally belong to people in local communities. "Transition Television" is an initiative to hold local TV broadcasters accountable for serving their community in its unique process of transition.
Les, Educators works well and I think you're right to word it more towards people rather then abstractions.
I'll send people this way as much as I can.

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I host a podcast about sustainable living and social process technologies called The Next Step. It deals in many of the areas that Transition is working on. In fact, Transition is basically a microcosm of all the things my show will cover, although it won't necessarily be Transition specific.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm interested in evolving our society towards a more responsible, self-sustaining, natural world.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
Actually, I'm beaten down man... I've got finals this week for my junior year of college, amongst many other matters of life, but my last final is thisThursday, so then things will start looking up!
Hi Jarret - just wanted to give you a thumbs up for your new podcast - I'm halfway through episode 1 as I'm typing this.
I've been listening to KMO for probably a couple of years, and your name (or that of your alter ego, rather) keeps cropping up there from time to time, but I haven't yet listened to B.L.I.T.A. However, when I heard the topic of your new show, I decided this was one I had to add to my iTunes subscriptions straight away. Looking forward to subsequent episodes.
