- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I've run a website: PreparedTompkins.org, since 2004 that offers practical hands-on suggestions for households during the ongoing cultural transition. Am also a co-founder of IthaCan (a local home food preservers network) and belong to TCLocal (Tompkins County relocalization group.) Have also attended one of Joanna Macy's Great Turning workshops.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- Am interested in finding out what others are doing in their communities. To share lessons learned and best practices.
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
- Sharing information I've accumulated on PreparedTompkins.org over the past four years. Also my experience developing IthaCan (a peer-to-peer skill sharing network) might be a useful model for other communities.
