I am not sure if my university is registered yet, and it is also across the pond. I work in the UK at the moment at a university in the community adjacent to Lewes, East Sussex. I haven't registered on a UK site as yet, but will look into it and look into getting my uni on board. Thank you for the suggestion. Best Wishes, Mary Beth
Yes, I've joined the Santa Fe site. It appears the organizers of Santa Fe are (or are feeling) a little bogged down..., after some seriously dwindling participation ... -- " ... but summer came and attendence dropped so badly ... ". I've done organizing activities in SF, and it can feel a bit daunting, and folks on the informed and creative edge can feel quite alienated in this land of Make Believe, but it's also true that SF has many very much allied and aligned groups, activists..., so I think we should try to get 'er up and runnin' again!
Think I just left you a voice message via Skype. Please confirm. Yet another technological marvel!

I think my Skype name is lee.strauss, but need to check it I guess. Been busy with the writing and figuring out how to get audio (podcasts) and video onto the website. Don't have webcam for my computer yet either. Hopefully within a week or two there will be an "introductory" podcast or two on the website that will go a lot further toward explaining what the site is all about than is currently there. In the meantime, how do I make sure of what my Skype call-in name is? Then we could at least chat, until I get a webcam. Or, you could just call me at 978 546-6090. I've got my hands full with the writing and site projects, but I do need to integrate what I'm doing with on-the-ground work for change.
Cheers,
Lee
