Chicago Public Radio Interviews with Rob Hopkins and Bill Wilson on the Transition Town Movement

Jerome McDonnell’s “Worldview” program takes a good look at global affairs by hosting in-depth conversations on world issues while considering their local impact. He interviewed Rob Hopkins from the UK, the founder of the Transition Town movement, on how this popular movement began, what it is all about, and where it is going. The Transition Town Movement supports local people, communities and cities in preparing themselves sensibly and thoughtfully for the three big coming changes of peak oil, economic uncertainty and climate change.

Interview with Rob Hopkins

Following his interview with Rob, Jerome spoke with Bill Wilson, of Midwest Permaculture, to ask about his thoughts on this worldwide and growing movement and its relevancy to the Midwestern United States.
